Hydrafacial Dr Sobia Medispa Clitheroe Lancashire

HydraFacial has been one of the most popular facial treatments over the years. In recent times it’s been the “go-to’ treatment for high profile celebrities, wanting glowing, radiant skin, with an instant result. Here at Dr Sobia Medispa, HydraFacial is still one of our most popular treatments.

If you are unfamiliar with HydraFacial, it is a medical-grade skin resurfacing treatment which clears out your pores and hydrates your skin at the same time. It is also sometimes known as “hydradermabrasion” as it involves microdermabrasion-like exfoliation paired with hydrating serums. It is more advanced than a traditional facial, or a facial treatment that you might have at a Spa.

Hydrafacial works by removing dead skin cells. It extracts impurities while and simultaneously enriches the skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturising serums. HydraFacial works deep within the skin, to deliver a superior treatment which promotes skin health. This is made possible thanks to a double-helix vortex treatment wand, which is moved across the face. The wand draws dead skin cells and dirt from the skin while the other pumps the skin full of soothing nutrients (hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and growth factors). This is essentially a peel, microdermabrasion, and hydrating mask in one treatment. This is a relaxing procedure.

There are 6 core steps involved in a HydraFacial which make it unique and unlike any other. Often called the ‘six-step’ facial, each of the steps are described below:

1) Detox – This eliminates toxins and increase and improve circulation.

2) Cleansing & Exfoliation – This step deeply cleans and lifts dead skin and impurities, which are visible at the end of your treatment.

3) Brighten – This step loosens debris from the pores using glycolic and salicylic solution to help brighten and make skin more radiant.

4) Extract  – A combination of honey extract and salicylic acid, blackheads and impurities are extracted.

5) Hydration  – The skin is further hydrated using hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and peptides.

6) LED Rejuvenation  – LED light collagen is stimulated leaving your skin looking radiant

To maintain your skin and get maximum results, once per month is generally recommend, but this depends on your skin type. Although your skin looks noticeably more radiant and hydrated, regular maintenance will still be required. The treatment tends to last a lot longer than most other facials.

Other than causing redness around the face, there is absolutely no down-time after a HydraFacial.  The redness tends to settle within 24hrs. The treatment takes around 50 mins for a full HydraFacial or 30 mins for an express one. The treatment is virtually painless (although some may feel some discomfort) without any burning or sensitivity post procedure.

Furthermore there is no special preparation required and it has also been known the ‘lunch-time’ facial.

HydraFacial is a rejuvenating skin treatment that delivers instant results. Not only can the treatment be used to give the dull skin a radiant boost, the treatment can also address concerns which as acne, pigmentation, dryness, blackheads, rosacea and wrinkles.

The HydraFacial treatment improves the overall skin texture, tone, and appearance. This is due to the deep exfoliation that cleans your pores, removing debris and allowing for better penetration of face serums, which are tailored to your skin type.

You can see and feel the results immediately after the treatment. Furthermore, the treatment promises to deliver long term skin health and can also cater to the specific needs of all skin types.
